The Anasazi were Indians who lived in Colorado, Utah, Arizona and New Mexico dating back to 130 A.D. Anasazi Beans were one of the few crops cultivated by the Anasazi Indians. Anasazi beans are now grown at 7,000 ft. elevation on the same land the Anasazi inhabited. Anasazi Beans are commonly used for baking and taste especially flavorful when cooked with ham or used in Mexican dishes. These beans have a sweet taste and mealy texture and contain 75% less carbohydrates than pinto beans. Each case consists of 25 pounds.
