Natural Chinese 5 Spice
-This authentic blend of natural spices, is very versatile. Traditional Chinese 5 Spice engages the taste buds with sweet, sour, bitter, pungent and salty all at once (our blend has no salt added). It can be used for stir fried vegetables, steamed rice, fish, even cookies! Or in a meat marinade like the one below.
Chinese 5 Spice Pork Marinade 4lb pork roast 3/4 cup soy sauce 1/2 cup vinegar 1/4 cup Chinese 5 spice 2 tablespoons brown sugar -Mix everything except the pork together in a plastic bag; shake well.
-Add the pork roast and draw all air out of the bag; seal and refrigerate overnight.
-Roast slowly in 325 degree oven or cube the pork, add 1 T. corn starch (wait 20 minutes) then, stir-fry.
