Bac'n Split Pea Soup
5 cups water 1-1/2 cups Bac'n Split Pea Soup Mix In heavy pot bring the water and soup mix to a boil; reduce heat to a low boil and let cook for 35-45* minutes; stirring frequently.
*According to desired texture; less time for more distinctive peas and more time for a pureed type pea soup.
For a creamier soup, 1/4 cup of cream can be added when the soup is finished cooking.
Stir well with a wire whisk.
