Customer Service Representative

Job Summary:
Process and fulfill orders, ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Process orders (via phone, fax, mail and email)
  • Provide customers with product information
  • Sales by phone (cross-sell, up-sell, new products)
  • Directly assist customers with positive resolution
  • Assess customers’ needs and provide solutions and alternatives to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Follow Customer Service Department procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Perform additional tasks as needed and assigned
  • Flexible with work schedule

Required Knowledge, Skills & Education:

  • Prior customer service experience required
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Computer, keyboard, 10-key and data entry skills
  • Possess excellent communication skills, written and verbal (on the phone, with other departments and with other team members)
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Must possess a positive attitude and have a commitment to serve
  • Must be a Team Player
  • High School Diploma or GED
